Johnny Goric

Johnny Goric, who holds a Master Chef Diploma, has cooked for many important kings and presidents, and worked in major hotel chains.
He has participated in many culinary competitions around the world. He won gold medal in “The Second Palestinian Culinary Arts Cooking Competition” that took place in 2008. The following year, Chef Goric was selected as a judge in “The Third Palestinian Culinary Competition”. In 2010, he won gold medal in the individual category at the “Villeroy and Boch Culinary World Cup” in Luxembourg and the golden cup in open air cooking competition in Bucharest, Romania. In addition to that, he won silver medal in the individual competition and bronze medal in the team category in Istanbul, Turkey in the “10th Gastronomy Festival 2012”. Same year he has participated in The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in USA under the US department of state.
In 2013, he won two medals in the “Ultimate Chef Challenge”, which is a live cooking competition that took place in Thailand.
Moreover, he has established first culinary school in Palestine. Plus, he is a member of the prestigious “Chaine de Rotisseurs” professionals in the world and a part of the “Chefs for Peace” team that cooks all around the world to promote peace in the region.
He has worked as an executive chef of “The Legacy Hotel” chain in Jerusalem until 2021. His latest position was as an Executive Chef of the Intercontinental Hotel & Resort in Jericho.
Chef Goric is the head instructor of the CHA (culinary hospitality academy) in Ramallah and chef & co-owner of the Restaurant ONYX in Haifa.
